You may recall that, yesterday, Aspyr Media announced that the Nintendo Switch version of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords would not be receiving the Restored Content DLC. The DLC comes from a very popular mod that has been available on the PC for years. It was planned to become official downloadable content on the Switch, but unfortunately, the DLC has been canceled.
Due to the little amount of info on why the DLC had been officially canceled, some speculation and fan theories have been sprouting up. Because of this, one of the Restored Content creators has decided to speak up on Reddit about the matter and debunk some theories, especially one involving higher-ups not wanting to give credit to the modders.
Modder zbyl2 stated that this rumor is 100% false. In fact, zbyl2 says that the exact opposite happened. He said that “Aspyr was great to work with and they offered to credit the whole team long before I even asked about it”. It is unknown what, exactly, is the cause for the DLC’s cancellation.
