She confidently stated in a recent interview that she would love to bring the beloved character to life once again on the big screen.

Fans can now breathe a sigh of relief knowing that their favorite character is in good hands. The actress who portrayed Princess Zelda in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom is willing to reprise her role for the newly announced live-action Zelda movie.

GamesRadar spoke with Patricia Summersett and asked if she’s interested in playing Zelda in the film adaptation. “Of course, I will,” she said without hesitation. “I would love to play Zelda over and over again.”

“I’m quite connected to the fanbase now,” she said. “It’s been seven years, so this is my life. It’s been three games, and I could always take more of it. I love this part of my life and the community. Not that it’s going away any time soon. It’s an absolute joy.”

The upcoming Zelda movie is a joint production between Nintendo and Arad Productions. The director of the Maze Runner trilogy, Wes Ball, will be at the helm. Additionally, Sony and Nintendo are working together to co-finance the project. Avi Arad, the producer, is a well-known figure in the entertainment industry, having previously owned Marvel Comics and founded Marvel Studios. Although he left Marvel in 2006, before the release of the first MCU movie, he continued to produce Sony’s Spider-Man movies and their spinoffs.
