If you have ever wanted to participate in a ranked battle in Pokémon sword and shield well now is your chance. Get ready to be emersed in the world of Pokémon because Pokémon is bringing back the ranked battle this fall in October.
Freedom is everything so why can’t you have that same freedom in Pokémon well now you can. in this month’s ranked battle (season 35) you can make a team out of any Pokémon, fight trainers from all around the world with Pokémon that would normally be banned and make your dream team and fight. The leaderboards reset every month the period of the ranked battle will start from Oct 1 and run until 4:59 p.m. PDT on October 31, 2022, the Ranked Battles October 2022 Season (Season 35)
for this season the only eligible Pokémon are Pokémon for the following games Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Sword, or Pokémon Shield or those with a battle-ready symbol any other Pokémon from previous games in the series can receive the battle-ready symbol from the character next to the door in the center of the Battle Tower in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. when a Pokémon is given the battle-ready symbol, it forgets all the moves it knows. if a Pokémon forget a move that it can’t learn in sword and shield it can never be relearnt.
Eligible Pokémon
Eligible Pokémon for the Ranked Battles October 2022 Season include Galar Pokédex No. 001–400, Isle of Armor Pokédex No. 001–211, and Crown Tundra Pokédex No. 001–210, as well as the following Pokémon:

before any match, you will be matched with the player in the same tier as you. you battle other trainers the higher your tier becomes the better the rewards get. you will be given your rewards at the end of the season. you will be given the following rewards based on your tier.

Ultra Ball Tier

How to Start a Ranked Battle
To start a Ranked Battle, follow these steps:
- Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield
- Open the X menu.
- Select VS.
- Select Battle Stadium.
- Select Ranked Battles.
How to Receive In-Game Rewards
- After the competition has ended, launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield
- Open the X menu.
- Select Mystery Gift.
- Select Get a Mystery Gift.
- Select Get Battle Stadium Rewards.
