Gun Media and Nighthawk Interactive, the publishers of the asymmetrical survival horror game The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, have recently teased a new addition to their lineup of killers, known as Family members.
The exciting news comes from a teaser video on the official Gun Media YouTube channel. Though brief, the video starts with the character Virginia rummaging through a toolbox, only to be abruptly interrupted by the newest Family member, Hands. While the trailer doesn’t show Hands in action, it’s revealed that his weapon of choice is a hammer. Gun Media underscores his menacing presence in a press release, stating, “That boy is big!”
But that’s not all the studio had to share. Alongside the new character teaser, players can gear up for a double XP weekend from March 17 – 20.
This year, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre has consistently delivered fresh content. March saw the introduction of a new map, The Mill, and a new Survivor character. And in February, Gun Media gave one of its killers a provocative makeover, turning them into a fan favorite.
