Capcom has announced the conclusion of Exoprimal’s seasonal updates with the end of Season 4. Despite this, online servers will remain active, and previous seasons will rotate through the game on a monthly basis.

Season 4 will end on July 11, after which Seasons 1, 2, and 3 will rotate monthly. Additionally, Season Passes 1-3 will be available for purchase again, allowing players to acquire items from all seasons.

All gameplay modes, including end-game content like the Savage Gauntlet and Time Loop Rebellion, will remain available. If players are alone or have only a few teammates, AI-controlled bots will be added to ensure they can fully experience the campaign and see the ending.

Exoprimal has received several content updates and collaborations with other Capcom properties, such as Monster Hunter in Season 3 and Mega Man in Season 4. The game is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Xbox Game Pass.

While a year of support is commendable compared to many live-service games, developers are concerned about the sustainability of these games as they compete for players’ attention. In 2023, 60% of all playtimes was spent on games older than six years, such as Fortnite and Minecraft, making it challenging for new competitors to break into the market. However, Capcom expressed confidence last year that Exoprimal would be profitable despite being a new IP in a competitive genre.
