Alan Wake 2 was one of the many announcements in Sony’s packed PlayStation Showcase this week. The new trailer revealed gameplay and new details about the upcoming survival horror title and confirmed the game is releasing on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 17. Preorders are already available for both platforms–but there’s a catch.
Following the PlayStation Showcase, developer Remedy Entertainment confirmed the game was digital only on all platforms. There are no physical versions of Alan Wake 2 planned.
